Katie is an aspiring impact litigator interested in working to address inhumane conditions of confinement and the lack of access to healthcare in prisons. At Haverford College, she was a Center for Peace & Global Citizenship Fellow and spent her summers working with the Texas Civil Rights Project in Austin, Casa de los Amigos in Mexico City, and Equal Access Legal Services in Philadelphia. Prior to law school, Katie worked as a litigation paralegal and as a grant writer in New York City. In her free time, Katie enjoys playing in the queer sports leagues in Philly, including basketball, dodgeball, and kickball. She also hosts a weekly pickleball game on the Schuylkill and invites new Lambda members to join!

Holly is an aspiring trial lawyer hailing from Southern Delaware. At Washington College, Holly studied Anthropology and American Studies and founded the college’s mock trial team. In her free time, Holly volunteered with organizations advocating for survivors of domestic violence. In addition to her Lambda position, Holly will serve on the Penn Trial Team board, as well as as an associate editor for the Journal of Law and Innovation. She looks forward to engaging in pro bono this year and building queer community at Penn.

Yeseo aspires to work in the Philadelphia area as a youth criminal defender. As an undergraduate at Harvard, she worked in legal aid, queer community organizing, and student government. At Penn, Yeseo is also a case chair with the Youth Advocacy Project, where he previously volunteered as a direct service fellow, and is a member of Natives at Penn, the Native American Law Student Association, the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and the Latinx Law Students Association. Yeseo has a passion for hip hop culture, street fashion and sneakers, postcolonial literature, animation, and mathematics. He is happy to speak to any incoming or prospective trans and nonbinary students.

Emily grew up in southern PA and studied Philosophy, Political Science, and Spanish at Slippery Rock University. Prior to law school, Emily worked at a bank in Pittsburgh for 2.5 years reviewing legal documents and helping with the LIBOR transition. At Penn, in addition to her involvement with Lambda, Emily is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Business Law.
